NASC and SARNZ Forge Historic Alliance with Signing of MOU

Scaffolding, Access & Rigging New Zealand (SARNZ) is thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC). This significant milestone for the scaffolding industry is a key step forward. Being committed to excellence, the two organisations will collaborate and work together for advancement within our industry.

Scaffolding, Access & Rigging New Zealand (SARNZ) is thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC). This significant milestone for the scaffolding industry is a key step forward. Being committed to excellence, the two organisations will collaborate and work together for advancement within our industry.

SARNZ marks its 30th year of supporting the industry, and the MOU being signed during this time further calls for celebration. It symbolises the growth and new connections we’ve made, and the dedication to cooperation, innovation, and the elevation of standards within the scaffolding profession, both here and abroad. 

NASC, internationally recognised as being at the forefront in setting scaffolding standards, joins forces with SARNZ, a trailblazer in scaffolding, access, and rigging in New Zealand, to provide a collaborative and joint effort in the exchange of expertise, resources, and best practices.

Under the terms of the MOU, NASC and SARNZ will embark on a journey of collaboration aimed at fostering enhanced recognition of standards, facilitating comprehensive training programs, and championing best practices that will elevate safety and efficiency across scaffolding operations. Through this alliance, both organisations reaffirm their unwavering commitment to excellence and their shared vision of advancing the scaffolding industry to unprecedented heights.

Speaking on the occasion Clive Dickin, CEO of NASC, remarked, "This momentous partnership signifies a new chapter in the evolution of the scaffolding industry. Together with SARNZ, we are poised to drive innovation, promote safety, and set new benchmarks for excellence that will resonate across borders."

SARNZ (Scaffolding, Access and Rigging New Zealand) is the association body representing members and individual companies covering scaffolding and rigging contractors, through to smaller companies and individuals as well as associate members who are providers to the industry in terms of supplying rope, planks, pipes, safety equipment, shrink wrap and the like. 

SARNZ was founded in 1994 by a group of like-minded individuals working in the industry who wanted to ensure they were able to speak with a united voice when it came to issues of concern to the industry.
